Description
Operation
The SSS is a tamper-proof, standalone safety switch
that can be used to switch relays, contactors or safety
relays directly. Only a Mechan actuator will
operate the SSS switch correctly.
Featuring dynamic signal technology, these switches
offer the advantages of electronic switching for standalone
applications.
When the switch
actuator is bought within the operating range of the
fixed switch (8-10mm target to target), a dynamic signal
is generated in the actuator and transmitter to the
switch.
When the switch is in position (target to target) the
NO contacts close and the NC contacts (SSS-11) open.
